Description:
Selected by Farrell Art Consulting for the Petoskey, MI Demmer Wellness Pavilion. Our finch feeder is constantly visited by American Goldfinches as well as other birds. This one was waiting its turn to for a perch on the feeder hanging below. Sitting on the ground with a photo umbrella over my head as a "blind" so the birds wouldn't fly away I simply waited until the birds showed up and started shooting when they did.

Well, it was certainly worth your wait. A very beautiful shallow dof to enhance this beautiful/detailed American Goldfinch. Very lovely photo!

Thanks Carolyn. Makes me rethink buying an actual bird blind too.
